Momentum Learning - A Portfolio of Schools
  • WHAT'S GOING ON AT MOMENTUM LEARNING?

Momentum Learning teachers, staff, and administrators work every day to ensure all our students are ready for college, career, and citizenship in the 21st century. Through the implementation of innovative new instructional models that aim to serve the "whole student." We are making strides to personalize our schools and classrooms to eliminate persistent achievement gaps for all significant student groups: African-American, Hispanic, low socio-economic, English learners, and special education. Our schools use the state standards as a framework to build customized, experiential learning opportunities that give students the critical skills and real world experience necessary for succeeding in college or joining the workforce.

  • EDUCATIONAL NEWS THAT YOU CAN USE

Save the date! Passport to Life will take place Friday, August 18th from 8:30-1:30 at San Diego City College.

Passport to Life is aimed at youth ages 14 to 24 who are on probation or have been on probation in San Diego County. The event offers user-friendly information about resources and opportunities available to participants as they transition from being a youth on probation into adulthood with adult responsibilities. The goal is to provide ideas, tools, motivation, encouragement, and hope for their future. It is based on the premise that all youth, including adjudicated youth with probation histories, have the ability to succeed if given the right training, support, and opportunities.
